Nike Waffle Trainer 2 Yellow Strike

K2, also known as Savage Mountain, is the world’s second highest peak—bested by only 779 feet by Mount Everest. Led by famed climber Jim Whittaker, it was a photo of Rick Ridgeway and John Roskelley, two of the four Americans who made history back in September 1978, that inspired this Waffle Trainer 2, who were wearing the LDV in a Yellow and Royal Blue color combination. Commemorating this historic moment, this Nike Waffle Trainer 2 comes dressed in a Yellow Strike, Hyper Royal, and Saturn Gold color scheme. Tribute features include the mountain graphic on the tongue label, the stamp-like logos on the sock liners and the “NIKE” text o the heel is overlaid with “K2” lettering.
