By linking this connection of East meets West, Nike designers utilized 1st century silk tapestries, which essentially references to the lucrative garment that influenced the Silk Road’s moniker as the source of the silhouette’s distinct palette. Overall flaunting a vibrant Merlot-colored hue across its base, tongue, laces and rear panels, bright Total Orange envelops its entire seamless upper, which evokes the luxurious “silk” fabric in a more modern approach.
