SB collaborations are kind of getting out hands this Summer, but you don’t see me complaining. It’s always nice to see new colors and variations of some of Nike Skateboarding’s most popular silhouettes.
The latest collaboration comes from Civilist, and they decided to use two different silhouettes to create the “River Spree” Collection. The River Spree in Berlin, where Civilist is located, runs through key destination in the city including a number of skating and shopping locations. Both the SB Stefan Janoski and Stefan Janoski Max have been hit with a wave graphic on the upper that is meant to resemble the water. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention that the uppers are also waterproof. The rainbow tongue on the OG Janoski is meant to mimic the color effect that is created when the sunlight hits the oil that sits on the water.
Look for both sneakers from the Civilist x Nike SB Stefan Janoski “River Spree” Collection at select Nike retailers on July 18th.
