The Nike 1971 Black White

The footwear you see here is named “The Nike 1971”. This is the first ever football (soccer) boot to rock the Swoosh when it dropped way back in 1971 for the retail price of $16.95. Being that it was the first ever Nike soccer boot, it did not hold up that well, especially during cold and wet weather conditions. I guess you can call it, humble beginnings.

Over the years, Nike went back to the drawing board, did more research and testing until they became the soccer powerhouse that they are today.
