Capturing the attention of many, particularly hip-hop and skateboarding culture with its eccentric style during the 1990s, Nike honors the legendary rap trio De La Soul once again with a commemorative Nike SB Dunk Low “De La Soul,” while this particular makeup was first comprised of a high-top during 2005.
Now rendered in low-top form, the model stays true to its original aesthetic by utilizing De La Soul’s classic 1989 album “3 Feet High and Rising” as its aesthetic foundation (prominently on its rear). Juxtaposed against a Baroque Brown suede upper, in addition to Green-colored elephant print overlays across its eyelets and toe cap, the vibrant model is further pronounced by bright Green accents gracing the laces, Swoosh and midsole.
All adhered to a Brown outsole unit to cap off its respective theme, expect to find the Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “De La Soul” at select Nike retailers on May 16th for $135.
